Registration

Registration is the public flow your attendees move through to sign up for your event. It's a guided, step-by-step experience, and you decide what each step asks for.

What attendees see

Most registrations follow the same rhythm:

  1. Choose a ticket, the attendee picks the ticket that fits them. If you've turned on groups, they'll choose their group first, which can change the tickets and questions they see.
  2. Enter their details, name, email, and any custom questions you've added.
  3. Add extras, optional add-ons, if you offer them.
  4. Review, a summary of their choices before they commit.
  5. Pay, for paid events, they enter payment and apply any discount or promo code here. Free events skip this step.

Once they finish, they get a confirmation and a confirmation email.

What you can configure

You control the questions, requirements, and messaging behind the flow. Here's where to go for each part:

  • Custom questions, add your own questions, show them only to certain tickets or groups, and set up follow-up questions that appear based on an answer.
  • Confirmation & waivers, require a waiver before someone can register, and customize the confirmation message each attendee sees.
  • Registrant accounts, how attendees sign in, and whether they can come back to edit their registration.
  • Invite-only events, limit registration to people you've invited, and manage requests to join.
tip

Preview your registration flow as an attendee before you open it up. Walking through it yourself is the fastest way to catch a confusing question or a missing step.
