Using the check-in app
This is your guide for the door. Keep it simple: scan, welcome, next. Here's everything you need.
:::tip Works without wifi The app keeps working even if the venue's wifi drops. Keep checking people in as normal, everything saves on the device and syncs automatically the moment you're back online. You don't have to do anything. :::
Check someone in by scanning
Most people will have a QR code, either on their confirmation or in their phone's wallet.
- Open the check-in app and point the camera at their QR code.
- Their name pops up, a green confirmation means they're in.
- Welcome them and wave the next person forward.

Ask people to have their QR code ready before they reach you. It keeps the line moving.
No code? Look them up by name
If someone doesn't have their code, don't worry.
- Switch to the name search.
- Type the first few letters of their first or last name.
- Tap the right person from the list and check them in.

Seeing two similar names? Check the details on screen, like their ticket type, to be sure you've got the right person before you tap.
Undo a check-in
Checked someone in by mistake? It's an easy fix.
- Find that person (scan again or search by name).
- Choose to undo their check-in.
They'll show as not arrived again, ready to be checked in properly.

Quick tips for a smooth door
- Keep the device charged, or bring a power bank, scanning uses the screen and camera.
- If a scan doesn't read, ask them to raise their screen brightness, or search by name instead.
- Already checked in? The app will tell you, just wave them through.
- Someone not showing up at all? See Dashboard and troubleshooting.
Stay calm, keep it moving, and enjoy welcoming your guests.
