Dashboard and troubleshooting
The check-in dashboard is your live view of the door. Use it to see how the event is filling up and to sort out anything that looks unusual.
The live dashboard
As people arrive, the dashboard updates in real time. At a glance you can see:
- How many have arrived versus how many are expected.
- Arrivals over time, so you can spot your busy stretches.
- A running list of check-ins as they happen.

Keep the dashboard open on a laptop at your registration table. It's a great way for a lead organizer to keep an eye on the whole event without standing at every door.
Unmatched scans
Sometimes a scanned code doesn't match anyone on your list. These show up as unmatched scans so you can look into them, rather than being lost. A code might be unmatched if it's from a different event, an old confirmation, or a registration that changed.
Review the unmatched scans list and resolve each one, usually by finding the right person and checking them in by name.

Troubleshooting
:::warning Attendee isn't on the roster First, search by name in case it's just a spelling difference. Still nothing? They may have registered under a different name or email, or their registration may have been cancelled, cancelled registrations are left off the check-in list on purpose. Check their details in Attendees to confirm, and add or restore them there if needed. :::
:::note Duplicate scans If a code is scanned twice, the app recognizes the person is already checked in and simply tells you so. Your count won't be inflated, just wave them through. :::
:::info A device is lost or needs removing If a paired phone or tablet goes missing or you're done with it, remove it from the event in your setup so it can no longer check people in. Your remaining devices keep working normally. :::
Still stuck on the day? Fall back to a name search, it works even offline, and resolve the details later from Attendees.
