Overview
Discounts lower the price of a ticket. They're a simple way to reward early sign-ups, thank a partner organization, or run a limited-time sale. When a discount applies, the attendee pays less at checkout and the savings are shown right on their order.
Promo codes
A promo code is a code an attendee types in during checkout to get a discount. You decide the code, how much it takes off, and any limits on how often it can be used.
Automatic discounts
An automatic discount is a rule that lowers ticket prices on its own, no code required. If an attendee's order qualifies, the discount is applied for them automatically at checkout.
Tracking discounts
Once your discounts are live, you'll want to see whether they're being used and how much they're saving attendees. Sunfish shows discounts in two places: on each attendee's order, and in your reporting.
