Overview
Sunfish handles the emails around your event so you can stay focused on the event itself. There are two kinds of email, and it helps to know the difference.
Email Templates
Every automatic email your event sends starts from a template, the confirmation, the payment link, the cancellation note, and others. A template is just the wording Sunfish uses when it sends that message. You can edit any of them to match your voice.
Campaigns and Broadcasts
A campaign, sometimes called a broadcast, is a one-off email you send yourself. Use it for anything the automatic emails don't cover: a schedule change, a parking update, a thank-you after the event, or a final push to get people to register.
Audiences
An audience, also called a contact list, is simply a group of people. When you send a campaign, you choose an audience to decide who receives it. No audience, no recipients: the audience is the "to" line for your message.
Deliverability
Deliverability is just a word for how reliably your emails reach inboxes. Sunfish looks after this for you in the background, but a little understanding helps you keep it healthy, so the messages you care about actually get read.
